Setting up on-line payment

Setting up on-line payment systems can be relatively easy. The operators of on-line systems have concentrated on making the setup and configuration as easy as possible. Getting the right system is however a challenge in what is a very crowded market place.

Once you have chosen which payment system you wish to use (web sites for some of them are listed on the 'On-line payment types' page) you have to fill in some forms and follow the site's instructions. When all that is completed along with your on-line shop you should be ready to take orders and their associated payments,

Our clients often ask us if they can require customers to pay by cheque. Yes this is possible but experience and research suggestions that few shoppers regard this as being worth the effort. The volume of orders using this method will be much lower than would be the case where credit card and switch payments are available.
